I’m Amaya Cranston — a production sound mixer, boom operator, and post-production sound designer with a passion for elevating every project through the power of sound. 

 

I’m a graduate of the University of Southern California, where I earned my degree in Film and Television Production. Today, I’m proud to return to USC as an Adjunct Professor at the School of Cinematic Arts, mentoring the next generation of filmmakers in the craft of sound.

 

In addition to my work in production and post, I serve as the Content Producer for Black Rose Sound, where I help develop and promote projects that center on underrepresented voices and stories. Our educational YouTube channel aims to make learning about sound fun and accessible to everyone.
